Surveilled Geroge Orwell square

Due to his participation in the Spanish Civil War in Spain (Exactly in the area of Barcelona), the city of Barcelona gave George Orwell‘s name to one of its squares. The events he lived there can be read in one of his books: Homenage to Catalonia.

Another, well known, book from George Orwell is 1984, where the concept of ‘Big Brother‘ watching you comes from, and it’s not with quite an irony that this square is surveilled!
